“O God, teach me to see You, and reveal Yourself to me when I seek You…”
Ambrose of Milan, 339-397

Nelsonville Presbyterian Church celebrates worship at 10:30am on Sunday mornings. During most of the services, children participate with their families through the “Children’s Time,” about 25 minutes into the service. They then go gather for singing, teaching, and activities with their teachers during Sunday school.

People dress fairly casually in our church. Still, you may find quite a variety — some worshippers in a coat and tie or dress, others in “business casual,” and others in a t-shirt and jeans. Sunday mornings are a relaxed worship environment, and we welcome all as they come.

Parking is available in our church parking lots both east and west of the church building, and along East Washington Street.

The Lord’s Table

We typically celebrate communion on special occasions of the church year, including the First Sunday of the Lenten Season, Easter Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, Worldwide Communion Sunday, and on Christmas Eve.

Nelsonville Presbyterian Church takes pride in its grand pipe organ, and on most Sundays, you’ll hear a variety of hymns and choral arrangements accompanied by our organist. However, a variety of musical styles and instrumentation have been enjoyed in our worship service, including that of piano, violin, guitar, and the dulcimer.
